We are excited to bring a collection of interviews with renowned directors from the Director’s Guide, to the Digital Theatre+ platform.
These filmed interviews give unparalleled insight into the working methods, philosophies and approaches of these renowned directors. Each director is interviewed by another well-known practitioner, which provides unique and interesting perspectives of their working
methods, careers, and world views.
The interviews feature:
- Adrian Noble with Genista McIntosh
- Mike Leigh with Indhu Rubasingham
- Nicholas Hytner with Tom Morris
- Phyllida Lloyd CBE with Fiona Shaw CBE
Researchers, students, and lecturers eager for first-hand accounts from key directors will relish in these 60-minute chaptered interviews, which also feature a Q&A session from the audience of other practitioners too. This exclusive material can be used in a number of ways including referencing specific plays or productions, directing as a practice, or any of the many themes and topics which arise throughout the conversations.
Next year we will be collaborating with the Director’s Guild to produce three brand new interviews to add the series, and we’re excited to announce the participants with you in 2019.
